Austria’s food and beverage sector will be showing its wares to an international audience, providing an excellent opportunity to find out more about delicious foods from Austria.

There is something special about shopping at a traditional market; you’ll find all kinds of fresh produce and drinks, specialities and everyday items, along with spices, small kitchen utensils and a host of other things. There is also plenty of hustle and bustle, making the experience of making purchases and tasting samples all the more charming and unique.

There is also plenty going on at the “Marketplace Austria for Food & Beverages”, and here the focus is on Austrian delicacies. ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA is inviting international buyers from supermarkets and wholesalers to take a trip to Vienna and find out more about foodstuffs that are “made in Austria”.

The Marketplace Austria for Food & Beverages programme will include:

exploring and trying tasty fare and drinks from Austria,
making new business contacts,
networking and exchanging ideas,
visits to Austrian firms.

There will also be online meetings for those unable to make it to Vienna, to be held on 2 October 2025.

Registration is open until 15 September 2025.

The event will be held at the Austrian Economic Chamber in Vienna on 1 October 2025.

The conference languages will be German and English.
